The men's and women's basketball team completed a season sweep of the Clinton Cougars on Sunday afternoon in the Raiders Den.
The Lady Raiders won their contest 73-30. Nine of the Lady Raiders made the scoring column and Julie Hampton led with 25 points, including going 4-8 from behind the arc. Diasia BeBoue scored 18 points and Asia Cruz tallied 10. McKiea Weekes finished with 18 rebounds on the day.
The Lady Raiders move to 10-10 on the season and have three regular season games remaining.
The men's basketball team had all nine players reach the scoring column in a 114-71 win over the Cougars. Clinton kept the game close mid-way through the first half as they trailed 26-22. Jamal Vazquez and Brandon Cooper got hot from three point land to extend the lead 54-30 at the half.
FM put the game out of reach in the second half as they outscored the Cougars 58-32. The Raiders had 7 players in double figures. Jamal Vazquez led with 19 points and Tyvon Stenson and Dante Morgan each had 17. The Raiders have a 12-8 record and are sitting 6th in the Region 3 standings.
FM's next contest will be on Wednesday, February 21st at Hudson Valley CC.
