The FMCC Women and Men's bowling team completed their season with a two day competition in Buffalo at the NJCAA National Championships. The Men finished 11th among 24 teams and the Women finished 10th against 16 teams.

"I was pretty disappointed in the results this past weekend.  The success we enjoyed during the regular season simply didn't carry over to Regionals or Nationals and we as a coaching staff have to figure out why. The bowlers get the credit when they do well, and the coaches take the heat when they don't perform so well, it's the nature of the beast," commented Coach Tom Rathbun

Bowling their final match for FM were Richard Taylor, Bryan Green, Brandon Little, Makayla Williams, Angel LaFreniere, Rebecca VanDeusen, Shayla Staves, and Allie Borst.

"Richard, Bryan, Brandon, Makayla, Angel and Shayla have been with the program for two years and through their efforts we were able to enjoy success this year as Conference Champions. Richard and Makayla have been two year Captains and I will always be grateful for what they brought to this program. They have helped me in numerous way the last two years and I would never be able to thank them enough, all my 2nd years will be missed," mentioned Coach Rathbun.

The entire Ladies team will be graduating and recruiting efforts are, and have been underway to replace them. A good core of the male bowlers return with Ethan Hadcock (1st team All Conference), Hunter Meher (2nd team All Conference), Zack Rinehart, Andy Sitterly, and Brandon King.
