The Female Raider of the year is Julie Hampton. Julie is a sophomore and competed in Volleyball, Basketball and Softball this year.
Hampton is an all around athlete and played a major role on all three teams. She was the defensive specialist on the volleyball team and helped lead the Lady Raiders to the Region 3 Tournament.
On the basketball team, Julie started every game for FM and was the team leader. She was named to the 3rd team all region and all conference. She finished the season with 18.7 points per game and sank 76 three pointers.
And on the softball diamond, Hampton was the starting shortstop for the Lady Raiders. She was also awarded the Coach’s award for her commitment to the team.
Julie excels in the classroom as well and graduated this May with a 3.5 GPA and was named to the Academic All-Region team.
