McKiea Weekes
The Female Raider of the month for January is McKiea Weekes. Weekes is a sophomore forward on the women’s basketball team. McKiea has made a big impact in the paint for the Lady Raiders where she leads the team with 15.7 rebounds per game, which is first in the region.
Weekes is averaging 10.7 points per game. She scored 18 points and grabbed 20 rebounds in a 70-53 victory over Broome Community College. McKiea has tallied six double doubles on the season.
