The Male Raider of the Month for December is Barceem Dukes. Barceem is the starting center for the Raiders.
Barceem is a great scorer with excellent low post moves. He is averaging 14.8 points per game, which is second on the team and 12th in the region. Barceem is also a very efficient scorer, as his field goal percentage is 60%, which is tops in the region. Barceem is also tough on the boards, as he is averaging 9 rebounds, which is first on the team. Barceem is one of the team leaders, who is always trying to push the team to succeed. His work ethic has brought him great success on the court, as well as in the classroom. He is one the most improved players in the region and his GPA is always at or above a 3.0. Barceem would like to continue his basketball career at a 4 year school and has had interest from several colleges.
Barceem and the Raiders will continue the second half of their season when they travel to Clinton Community College on January 14th.
