TROY – FM and Hudson Valley split a baseball doubleheader on the HVCC campus on Sunday afternoon. The Raiders won the first game 15-6, and the Vikings won the second contest 13-12.
Game One
Sam Flood was on the hill for FM. Flood pitched a complete game, scattering six hits by Hudson Valley batters.
Several Raiders contributed at the plate. Gregory Ruddy was three-for-five and drove in two runs. Alex Vickery sent a grand slam out of the park. Kristjan Maksuti was two-for-three with a double and a three-run homer.

Game Two
The Raiders tied the game in the top of the sixth inning, but the Vikings regained the lead in their half of the inning. Hudson Valley won the game 13-12.
Alex Vickery was a perfect four-for-four and drove in two runs. First baseman Andrew Houser had two hits in four trips to the plate, with an RBI. Greg Ruddy (see photo at the bottom of this page) had a hit and drove in four runs.
