SCHEDULE NOTE: Jefferson CC and Fulton-Montgomery CC were to have played at FM on Tuesday, but that outing was postponed due to weather. The doubleheader has been rescheduled for today, April 18, at FM. First pitch: 2:00 p.m.
WATERTOWN – The FMCC Raiders won two games from the Jefferson CC Cannoneers on Thursday afternoon. FM won the first game 4-1 and earned a 10-inning, 7-4 win in the nightcap.
Game One
FM's sophomore righty Dennis Buckley had another impressive outing, striking out nine while going the distance and limiting Jefferson to two hits. April is barely half over, but Buckley has already won three games this month.

The Raiders played heads-up baseball, taking advantage of walks and three Jefferson errors in Game One. Catcher Andrew Houser had two RBI without getting a hit. Gregory Ruddy went two-for-three at the plate.

Game Two
Dennis Buckley's big day continued in Game Two. Head Coach Dave Hennessey assigned the Designated Hitter duties to Buckley, and Buckley came through, driving a two-run double into the outfield in the top of the 10th inning.
Jefferson had taken the lead in Game Two, but FM's Jason Roth stroked a double in the sixth inning to tie the game. Christopher Rockefeller added to the FM ledger with two hits and one run driven in.
