UTICA – The Mohawk Valley CC Hawks won both ends of a doubleheader with the Raiders at historic Murnane Field on Thursday afternoon.

Game One

The visiting Raiders led 7-5 after three innings, but a big fifth inning led the home team to a 10-7 win. FM's Lewis Lima, James Waters, and Matt Hecht all stroked doubles for FM.

Game Two

FMCC pounded out eight hits, but MV outscored the Raiders 4-2. Baylee Hall was FM's starting pitcher. Hall went 4.2 innings, allowing 6 hits, striking out 3, and walking 4. William Hewitt came on in relief. Hewitt pitched 1.1 innings, allowing just one hit while walking one and striking out one.

FM's Andrew Houser drilled a double, and MV's Justin Kiesow doubled twice.

FM's next outing will be at home on Saturday hosting Hudson Valley CC for a 1:00 p.m. doubleheader.  .
