Baseball Team Edged by Top-Ranked HCCC in Game One

HERKIMER – The Herkimer Generals are the region's top-ranked team. The Raiders gave them a very good run in Game One on Thursday. The Generals edged FM 5-4 in that game. The home team then rolled to an easy 10-0 win the Game Two.

Game One

Christian Maldonado stepped onto the mound for FM, and once again pitched a strong game. Maldonado allowed the Generals just three earned runs. He struck out four and walked only two while taking the hard-luck loss.
