PLATTSBURGH – The FM baseball team won both games of a doubleheader with the Clinton CC Cougars on Saturday. The Raiders won the first game 8-6 and rolled to a one-sided 14-1 win in the second game.
The same two teams will play the third and fourth games of their weekend series at FM on Sunday afternoon. Gametime has been changed to 2:00 p.m.
Zachary Hughes had a big day at the plate on Saturday. The freshman outfielder drove in four runs with a home run and two doubles.

Game One
The contest was tied 4-4 when FM took the lead with two runs in the fourth and two more in the fifth.
Raymond Osterhout was three-for-four at the plate. James Waters went two-for-three and drove in two runs. Zach Hughes belted a two-run double.

Game Two
FM romped in a game that was shortened by the run rule. Zach Hughes doubled, homered, and drove in two runs. Andrew Houser hit a round-tripper. James Waters' two doubles produced four RBI. Kevin Chrisman hit a double and blasted a three-run home run.
