Raiders Offense Stays Hot

Cory moore hits

The Raiders extend their winning streak to four games with two more wins against the Schenectady Royals at Central Park.  The FM offense stayed hot and beat the Royals 11-1 and 9-1.

In Game 1, the Raiders jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the 1st inning off of an RBI single from Brogan Barker that scored Ryan CullamPatrick Hart got things going in the 2nd inning for FM when he doubled scoring Cullam who reach on a hit by pitch.  The Raiders scored 4 more runs in the 4th and 6th inning to win Game 1.

Richard Umholtz got the win for the Raiders on the mound.  He threw all six innings, giving up one run, one hit and struck out five batters.  Kyle Agresta and Hart each collected multiple hits for FM.

Jake Petralia got the start for the Raiders in Game 2 and went the distance for a 9-1 win. He gave up just one run on five hits and struck out six. 

FM scored 2 runs in the 3rd inning and then tacked on some security runs in the 4th inning by scoring 4 more runs.  The Raiders had eight hits in the game.  Cory Moore led the Raiders with a triple and single and 4 RBIs.  Patrick Hart had a multiple hit game with two singles and an RBI and Ryan Cullam drove in two more runs for FM.

The Raiders will get no rest as they travel to Joe Bruno Stadium on Tuesday to face the Hudson Valley Vikings.  The double header is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
