Game 1 at East Field: 3-1 Adirondack

Both teams pitched well, but the Timberwolves strung together a few more hits for the win.  Richard Umholtz was stellar on the mound for FM in the loss.  He went six innings, gave up three runs, seven hits and struck out ten batters. The Raiders collected seven hits in the game.  Paul VanWarner, Kyle Agresta, and Brogan Barker each had two hits for FM.

Game 2 at East Field: 8-1 Adirondack

FM fell behind early in the contest and couldn't come back in an 8-1 loss.  Patrick Hart took the loss for FM allowing eleven hits and eight runs.  Kyle Agresta led FM going 2-for-2, with two doubles.  Cory Moore, Jake Petralia and Patrick Hart each had hits and Petralia collected an RBI.

Game 3 at FMCC: 4-0 Adirondack

The game headed into the 5th inning at a 0-0 score, but the Raiders lost the lead late as the Timberwolves scored one in the 5th and three in the 6th inning.  Jake Petralia tossed seven innings for FM, allowing four runs, twelve hits, and struck out five.  Patrick Hart went 2-for-4 at the plate with two doubles.  Paul VanWarner had the only other hit for FM.

Game 4 at FMCC: 2-1 FM

In the final game of the series, FM came out on top in a pitchers dual.  The Raiders jumped out on top in the 2nd inning 2-0 off of a Kyle Sherlock double, scoring Agresta and Petralia.  Adirondack scored one run in the 4th inning, but that was all that Justin Putnam would allow.  Putnam threw a complete game allowing just four hits and striking out two.  Petralia, Cory Moore, Ryan McNamara, Sherlock, Hart, and Ryan Cullam each had a hit for FM.

FM will get a one day break and will host Columbia-Greene on Tuesday starting at 2:00 p.m.
