Raiders Push Past Twins

The FM baseball team extended their winning streak to seven games with wins over Columbia Greene on Tuesday. 

Kyle Sherlock got the start on the mound and didn't allow a single run in game one and the Raiders won 6-0.  He allowed three hits and struck out eleven. 

Noah Wygel started things off in the 1st inning with a bunt single and Sherlock singled him home to take a 1-0 lead.  FM scored three runs in the 3rd inning.  Dan Parslow singled scoring Wygel, Cory Moore scored on an error and Sherlock drilled a double to score Parslow. 

The Raiders scored two more in the 6th to secure the 6-0 win.  Sherlock led the offense going 2-3 with 2 RBIs. 

The FM offense stayed hot in game two and the Raiders beat the Twins 10-3.  Michael Brown earned his first win of the season on the mound.  He gave up two runs on five hits over six innings and struck out six. 

The Raiders tallied nine hits in the game.  Dan Parslow led the Raiders with three hits in five at bats, along with 3 RBIs.  Joshua McCaffrey and Noah Wygel each had two hits.

FM improves to 8-2 in the conference and 9-7 overall.  They will travel to Columbia Greene on Thursday to wrap up a four game series with the Twins.
