For the second time in four years the Raiders are headed into post season play. The Men's Baseball team secured the #3 seed from the Region 3 Eastern Section.
FM will travel to take on #2 Erie Kats from the Western section in a sub-regional best of three matchup on Saturday. The Kats finished the regular season with a 17-9 regional record. The Raiders enter the post season with a 15-11 overall record and 14-6 conference record. FM used an eight game win streak in mid-April to position themselves for a Regional run.
The two teams will play a nine inning double header on Saturday, May 12th beginning at Noon. In the event the teams spilt, there will be a deciding game three on Sunday, May 13th. All games will be hosted by the Kats.
The four winners from this weekend will move on to take part in a double elimination tournament hosted at Herkimer on May 19-21.
