FM baseball's Bradley Smith was named to the 2018 All-Region 2nd team and shortstop Cory Moore was named to the glove team. Both players had a big impact on the success of the team this season and led the Raiders into post season play.
Brad Smith finished the season with a 4-3 record and had the most appearances on the mound for FM. The freshman had a 6.81 ERA and recorded 33 strike outs.
Cory Moore was a leader on the field for FM. He finished the season with 41 assists and 68 putouts and a .924 fielding percentage. He also led the Raiders with a .329 batting average including 14 RBI's.
Head Coach Dave Hennessey earned the Coach of the Year Award in the Mountain Valley Conference. He led his team to a 14-6 conference record and a trip back to the Region 3 Tournament.
