Parslow Leads Raiders to Victory

The men's baseball team finished 1-2 in a three game series with Cayuga Community College.  The final game in the four game series was cancelled due to rain and field conditions.

On Saturday, FM fell on the road in game one 12-0.  Noah Wygel took the loss on the hill allowing seven runs on nine hits.  The Raiders collected just three hits in the game.  Alex VanDeusen led with 2 hits and and Joshua McCaffrey had the other hit to round out the offense.

In the second game, FM bounced back behind Dan Parslow for a 5-4 win.  The Raiders trailed 4-1 heading into the 7th inning, but they scored four runs in the final inning to secure the win.

Parslow threw a complete game and picked up his third win of the season.  He allowed three runs on ten hits and struck out seven.  Offensively, Parslow also led going 2-for-3, with one RBI and scored once.

On Sunday, Cayuga came to town to wrap up the season series.  FM pounded out 16 hits in a 12-11 loss.  Parslow led with four hits and scored three runs.  William Newcomb had three hits including two doubles and four RBI's.  McCaffrey was also 3-for-3 with 2 RBI's. 

The Raiders head into their final week of the regular season.  They will host Hudson Valley on Tuesday and on Thursday will travel to take on the Herkimer Generals.
