The men's baseball team fell on the road to Herkimer 10-0 in game one and tied 3-3 in game two. The Raiders finish the season 7-17-1 overall.
In game one, the Raiders struggled to put runs on the board and the Generals took advantage early and racked up 10 hits.
Offensively for FM, Joshua McCaffrey, Julio Jimenez, William Newcomb, Alex VanDeusen, and Noah Wygel each collected a hit.
On the mound, Michael Brown took the loss for the Raiders. He gave up nine runs on eight hits, striking out three.
In the night cap, Dan Parslow was on the hill for FM. He pitched all nine innings, gave up nine hits, struck out four and allowed just two runs in the tie.
FM led 3-2 heading into the 5th, but a double by the Generals tied the score 3-3.
Jimenez, VanDeusen, Newcomb, McCaffrey, Brown and Derek Lee each had singles in the game.
Dan Parslow and Josh McCaffrey were both named the team's MVPs. Blake Carey was given the Coach's Award. The Raiders finish the season 7-17-1 overall and best of luck to the sophomores.
