The Fulton Montgomery Men's Basketball Team matched up against The North Country Saints in the Raiders Den. The Raiders suffered a tough 85-97 loss.

North Country controlled the first ten minutes of the half holding FM to just six points and pushing the score to 22-6.  FM finally settled in and Saquan Goland started the 9-0 FM run with a lay up. Ayodele Akinmola followed with three pointer and Kadeem Ridick sank another three to cut cut the defecit to just six point and set the score at 26-20.  North Country dominated the next four minutes of the half behind tough defense and ended the half with a 15 point lead and FM was down 46-31 heading into the locker room. 

North Country started the second half with two quick three pointers to push the lead to 52-31. Akinmola and Tremaine Elder cut the lead to 15 points and FM wasn't done there.  Dylan O'Connor led the offense with sharp shooting and had a team high 20 points.  FM kept clawing away and cut the North Country lead to just five points with five minutes remaining.  That would be the closest the Raiders would get as the Saints were able to hold off the Raiders in the final minutes.  FM battled all game, but would come up short 85-97. 

FM will travel to Finger Lakes Community College on Saturday to take on the Lakers in a 3 p.m. Region III Contest.
