Men's Basketball Outplays Onondaga

The Men's Basketball team improved their record to 3-2 with a win over the Onondaga Lazers.  The Raiders had five players in double figures and used a balanced attack to win 101-87.

Barceem Dukes got FM out to a quick 9-3 lead scoring all nine points.  FM's Ricky Mitchell scored one of his four three pointers to push the lead to 16-6.  OCC was able to battled back to within one point, but Tremain Elder answered with a three point play to set the score at 34-30.  Mitchell put the Raiders up by eleven with back to back made three pointers and Ayodele Akinmola sank two foul shots to end the first half 52-39.

FM's Andre Taylor got the Raiders on the board in the second half and Akinmola followed with two point of his own to go up 19 points.  FM's Dylan O'Connor drilled a three pointer to go up 75-52.  FM dominated the rest of the half by scattered scoring from everyone on the floor.  Ricky Mitchell sealed the deal with another three to go up 100-83 and an eventual 101-87 victory over the Lazers of Onondaga.

The Raiders next contest will be on the road against Adirondack Community College on Saturday, November 21st.
