The Raiders hosted the Red Barons from Corning Community College in a Region 3 matchup. Corning proved to be to much for FM as they went on to beat the Raiders 83-71.

Dylan O'Connor got FM out to an 8-4 lead after he converted a three point play and then knocked down a three from the corner. Austin Riska put the score at 19-15 with eight minutes to go after he made a three of his own. Corning then reeled off a 14-2 run to take the lead 29-22. O'Connor netted another three for a total of 12 first half points, but the Raiders trailed 30-35 at the half.
Ayodele Akinmola and Tremaine Elder got the Raiders off to a quick 7-0 start to take the lead 37-35. Both teams traded basket for basket, but Corning got a couple offensive put backs to regain the lead 50-47 with twelve minutes remaining. Corning quickly jumped out to an eleven point lead scoring 12 straight unanswered points. Kadeem Riddick stopped the FM drought with a field goal and a steal that led to a Barceem Dukes layup and the score was 60-53 Corning. Corning went on to dominate the final seven minutes of the game and go on to beat FM 83-71.
The Raiders will host Columbia-Greene Community on Wednesday, January 20th at 7:00 p.m.
