Ayodele Akinmola would once again take over the game and lead the Raiders with 31 points.  FM hung with the Hawks throughout much of the 1st half until MV went on an 8-0 run midway through the half and the Raiders fell behind 24-12.  FM was able to cut the lead to just seven with four minutes remaining, but MV ended the half leading 43-34.

In the second half, both teams traded basket for basket, but FM was still behind 63-47 with seven minutes remaining.  The last six minutes of the contest is when the Raiders decided to take over the game.  Kadeem Riddick nailed a big three pointer from the wing and Kimane Patterson hit a free throw to close the deficit to just four points.  Dylan O'Connor then drilled a three of his own from the corner to put FM behind by just one point with 5 minutes to go.  Akinmola put FM ahead for the first time in almost 35 minutes as FM led 63-62 with 4:45 left on the clock.

The Hawks wouldn't go away as they sank a three pointer of their own to regain the lead 66-65. Tremaine Elder and Patterson knocked down each of their foul shots and FM was up 69-66 with less than two minutes left in the game.  MV managed to score just two more points and FM was able to froce a turnover on the defensive end which led to Ayodele Akinmola sinking three free throws down the stretch to seal the upset.  FM went on to win 72-68 on senior night and the last time in the Raiders Den for the season.

The Raiders have one game left in their season as they travel to Columbia-Greene on Saturday. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m.
