The Men's Basketball team hosted the Onondaga Lazers in the first home game of the 2017 season. FM lost the Region III contest 65-83. Dante Morgan led FM with 16 points and Brandon Cooper finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
In the first half, the Lazers jumped out to an 18-1 lead on the Raiders. FM clawed their way back and went on a 16-2 run of their own to cut the OCC lead to 20-14. Onondaga got back to their sharp shooting and extended their lead 30-15. Dante Morgan finished the half with a layup in traffic to head into the locker room trailing 32-44.
Morgan and Jaleel Jean Jacques got the Raiders off to a fast start and cut the OCC lead 36-44. The Lazers answered with a 17-2 run to extend their lead 64-42 and FM could not bounce back. FM suffered a 65-83 loss.
FM's next contest will be on the road on Saturday, November 18th. They will play Adirondack CC at 3:00 p.m.
