The Raiders extended their winning streak to five games on Wednesday night.  FM hosted the North Country Saints and saw ten players reach the scoring column for an 80-75 Mountain Valley Conference victory.

FM trailed early in the first half until Darren Demmit came off the bench and sparked the Raiders first lead of the game 18-17.   Jaleel Jean Jacques and Tyvon Stenson sparked an 11-0 run and FM extended their lead to 35-24 with five minutes remaining in the half.  Kobe Vaughan scored the final five points of the half and FM led 45-32.

The Raiders came out fast in the second half and took their largest lead of the game 60-45.  The Saints would not back down as they went on a 16-2 run and trailed 66-62 with 8 minutes remaining.

With six minutes remaining and FM up by just four points, Coach Collar called a time out.  After the timeout, Tyvon Stenson grabbed two steals to spark a quick 6-0 run and extend the lead 76-66.  The Raiders had trouble closing out the game and the Saints were able to trail by just three points with under a minute remaining.  Dante Morgan and Amadou Diakite sank critical foul shots to secure the 80-75 victory.

Jaleel Jean Jacques led the Raiders with 12 points.  Darren Demmit finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds and Dante Morgan had 11 points.

FM will look to get their sixth win in a row on Sunday, December 10th.  They travel to play Finger Lakes CC in their final game of the semester.
