The men's basketball team won their ninth straight home game on Thursday night against North Country, 86-73.  On Friday, that streak was snapped as the Herkimer Generals defeated the Raiders at home, 72-61.

Against the Saints, FM jumped out to a 31-21 lead with 8 minutes left in the half. North Country got hot from behind the arc to close out the half trailing 45-44.

The Raiders extended their lead 64-57 with 8 minutes to play.  Chris Toussaint pulled FM ahead 78-65 to secure the victory.  Toussaint led with 20 points and 10 rebounds.  Darren Demmit had 19 points and Amadou Diakite finished with 14.  Juwan Malone rounded out double figures scoring with 11.

On Friday, FM hosted the always tough Herkimer Generals. The Raiders went on an 8-0 run mid-way through the first half to lead 16-14.  Herkimer tied the game at 18 with 8 minutes left in the first half and headed in the locker room leading 38-29.  FM played hard in the second half, but came up short.  Three FM players tallied double-doubles.  Juwan Malone had 18 points and 10 rebounds.  Darren Demmitt had 14 points and 11 rebounds and Jahmr Jordan finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds. 

The Raiders will finish out their final week of the regular season as they travel to Clinton and Columbia Greene.  They will then host Hudson Valley, Mohawk Valley and Columbia-Greene to finish the regular season.
