After a 20-win season and a tough loss in the Region III Semi-Finals last year, the FMCC men's basketball team has high hopes for the 2019-20 season.  The Raiders will look to many newcomers to lead the team back to the Region 3 tournament.

FM returns one sophomore from last year's roster in Ashton Pardie.  He played in 12 games last season and looks to be the leader on and off the floor this season.

Some key newcomers to the squad are Terrell Evans at the starting forward position.  Khalil Muhammad looks to make an impact early at the point guard position and Brandon Holmes at the shooting guard.

"There is an excitement going into the year due to the uncertainty of what each player will bring each night because of the number of new players we have," said Head Coach Ed Collar.

The Raiders finished 20-7 last season and hope to be a contender in the Region once again.

"We should be a fast, up paced team.  However, we will need to grow from mistakes that we will make as a young team.  How much we grow, will determine how far we go," said Collar.

The men's basketball team will begin their season on November 9th in the Raiders Den.  FMCC will host Onondaga Community at 3:00 p.m.
