Ashton Pardie gets past the Herkimer defense.

The men's basketball team suffered a 61-52 loss to Herkimer on Monday evening. Javan Johns paced FMCC with 24 points and 16 rebounds and Matthew Boyle had 14.
The Raiders played right with the Generals in the first half. Mathew Boyle converted on a three point attempt and Johns sank a foul shot to tie the game at 11-11. Ashton Pardie and Johns closed out the half on the scoring end and the Raiders trailed 18-21 heading into halftime.
It was all Herkimer to start the second half as they took a 19 point lead. With 5 minutes remaining, Boyle cut the lead to ten; 40-50. The Raiders kept it close, but Herkimer was able to pull out the win.
