The Men's basketball team pulled out a much needed win on Wednesday night in the Raiders Den. FMCC hosted the North County Saints in a Conference match-up. The Raiders defeated the visiting Saints, 84-70.
FMCC picked it up on the defensive end of the ball, holding the Saints to full court pressure. The Raiders led 41-36 at the half.
In the second half, the FM maintained their balanced attack and closed out the contest to tally their 7th victory of the season.
Kory Bergh had a big night for FM. He scored 17 points, including 5-for-8 from three point range. Joey Rowback led with 29 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. De'Vante Mateo with 22 points and Korey Greenland with 10.
The Raiders are back at it on Thursday when they travel to take on HVCC. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
