Raiders Fall to Vikings in Regular Season Finale

The men's basketball team hosted their final regular season contest on Wednesday night. The Raiders hosted the Hudson Valley Vikings.

HVCC jumped out to an 18-6 lead in the first half. After a timeout from Head Coach Ej Gallup, the Raiders dug in. Korey Greenland converted on a three point play and Joseph Rowback drilled a three to cut the lead to just 9 points, 33-24. At the half, the Vikings led by 10 points.

In the second half, the Vikings pulled away from the Raiders. With ten minutes remaining, Hudson Valley extended the lead to 19, and secured the victory, 85-66.

Joseph Rowback led with 24 points and Korey Greenland with 19.

FMCC honored the sophomores; Korey Greenland, Kory Bergh, Anderson Jones, Adnan Ahmed, Richard Gannon and Kento Igarashi.

The Raiders now prepare for the post-season. The Region 3 seeding meeting will take place on Thursday and FMCC looks for a chance to make a statement in the sub-regional game on Saturday, February 19th.
