The men's basketball team came off their mid-semester break picking up where they left off. The Raiders defeated SUNY Adirondack, 88-55 to improve to 8-2 on the year and 6-1 in conference play.

The Raiders wasted no time as they jumped out to a 14-3 lead over the first 9 minutes and never looked back.

Nahjhime Kirton returned to the squad and made an immediate presence. He led with 23 points and 13 rebounds. Nick Butler had 13 points and Kennyh Hardeman finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Schumel Shepherd and Donovan Rodriguez each had 12 points.

"I thought considering the long layoff and working to get back in shape our guys came out with energy right away. Anytime you add someone back into the lineup it can be tricky, but all of our guys handled it great, we didn't miss a beat. We have a lot of games in January and February, so it was a great start to get the ball rolling and start some momentum for the second half run," stated Head Coach Ej Gallup.

The Raiders will be back in action at home on Sunday, January 14th. They will host Finger Lakes Community College at 1pm in the Raiders Den.
