The men's basketball team earned a convincing conference win over Hudson Valley on Monday evening. The 100-81 victory was Head Coach Ej Gallup's 50th career win. He earns the 50 wins faster than any coach in program history. Gallup has a 50-22 career record in just three seasons with the Raiders.

The Vikings started the game on an 8-0 run. Kennyh Hardeman converted a three-point play and cut the deficit, 18-14. The Raiders went on a 15-0 run to take the lead, 35-25 with two minutes remaining in the half and led 39-31 at the break.

In the second half, FM came out fast, extending their lead, 50-35. Jordan Jackson hit a dagger three with 5 minutes to go and The Raiders led, 80-55 and had put the game out of reach for the Vikings.

"We are in a good spot right now. I think guys are learning more and more every day on what exactly their specific role is in order for us to reach our potential. The regular season is coming to an end and we want to be playing our best for regionals is always our goal. We just need to continue to stay hungry and take it one game at a time," said Gallup. 

Kennyh Hardeman led with 28 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Jordan Jackson finished with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Nahjhime Kirton had 20 points and collected 10 rebounds and Schumel Shepherd with 17 points and 10 assists.

The Raiders are now 19-3 and will travel to Columbia-Greene on Wednesday for their next contest.
