The Men's Basketball team traveled to Herkimer College on Sunday for the Region 3 Title Game. The Raiders entered the contest ranked #7 in the nation, a 24-3 overall record and a 17-game win streak. The Generals entered the game #4 in the nation and a 27-1 record, with their only loss coming at the hands of the Raiders on February 21st.
Playing at home, The Generals set the tempo from the tip-off. They never trailed in the contest and defeated the Raiders, 90-70.
Jordan Jackson and Schumel Shepherd were named to the All-Tournament Team. Jackson and Sheperd each had 20 points and Donovan Rodriguez followed with 14.
The Raiders will now await an opportunity at an at-large bid for the NJCAA DIII National Tournament. The 12-team tournament is set for March 13-16th at Herkimer College.
