FM Bowling Off To Good Start

The FMCC Bowling team got their season off to a fine start on Saturday as they finished in second place at the MVCC Fall Classic, held at Kingpin lanes in Rome, NY.

The team was led by Freshman Andrew Bauer (Shenendehowa) posted a six game total of 1105 for a 184 average on a difficult oil pattern. For his efforts, Andrew was awarded a second place finish plaque. Andrew teamed with team Captain Evan Swaitzki (ND-Bishop Gibbons) who finished sixth overall. The other members of the team who contributed yesterday are Korey Davis, Kadence Kennedy, Justin Hulbert, Noah Barner, and Melissa Schneiderman.

This is the only scheduled competition for the Raiders this semester. The second semester schedule will begin in later January and conclude in late February.

Coach Rathbun indicated that a few slots on the team are still open if any experienced bowlers might be interested in joining. Anyone interested can text him at 315-868-9352 or contact the Athletic Director.
