The FMCC Bowling team opened Conference play on Wednesday and finished second in both 3 game blocks. Despite being down a bowler, the team posted some impressive scores.
On the day, Evan Sawitzki averaged 206.5 and is one of the Mountain Valley Conference leaders in overall average. Not far behind is Andrew Bauer, with a 194 average and Korey Davis with a 184. Some of the high single games were Evan's 254, 215, and 203. Andrew posted a 248, 206, and 202. Korey had high scores of 221 and 196. Kadence Kennedy, the only female on the mixed team, rounded out the team scoring, contributing to the teams overall score.
The next match for the Raiders with be another conference match next Friday, January 28th, at MVCC, King Pin Lanes in Rome, with a 1 PM start.
