The Golf Program at FMCC

The Fulton Montgomery Community College Men's and Women's golf team begins a new era for the 2019-2020 season. I have been selected to head the golf program and I am very much looking forward to the challenge. I would like us to be competitive in the first year of the program and through recruiting efforts throughout the year, I hope to compete for the Mountain Valley Conference within two years. I understand it's a lofty goal but accepting challenges and meeting them is what athletics is all about.

The golf program here at FM will be one of hard work, dedication, and a firm commitment to academics.  Always remember the athletes are "Student Athletes", there is a reason why the word "Student" comes first, because academics ALWAYS comes first. Myself and the administration at the school will do everything possible to help students succeed in the classroom and then athletic performance will follow.

As it stands now, our golf season is incredibly short. We start competition in Mid-April and finish in Mid-May, totally dependent on the weather of course. We will meet in the Fall and try to practice a couple of times a week and I already have two scrimmages planned. FM is in the process of getting enrolled in the Titleist Collegiate Pricing Program that offers huge discounts on all products from Titleist. There is no charge to students for participation, you of course will need your own clubs. Greens fees, shirts, hats, rain gear, golf balls will be provided by the school.
