Aiden VanLoan got FM on board with 23 minutes left in the first half, off of a Jack Albertin cross.  Jared Rubin and the defense held the Saints scoreless for the entire half.

North Country came out in second half strong and scored 4 minutes into the half off of a long throw in.  Six minutes later, Austin Heroth sent a perfect corner kick into the box and VanLoan headed it in for a 2-1 lead.

The Raiders stayed strong defensively and saw some solid play from their reserves to secure the victory.  "I thought we played well and we are finally getting the system.  Everyone is playing tough and we are on a playoff push," said Leggiero.

FM will have a long road trip this weekend as they head to Jamestown on Saturday for a 2:00 p.m. contest.  On Sunday, the Raiders will face their toughest competition of the season against Genesee, who is 6-0 in regional play.
