The men's soccer team went 1-1 over the weekend against Herkimer and Clinton. On Saturday, the Raiders hosted the always tough Herkimer Generals. The Generals scored 18 minutes into the game off of a corner kick. FM played a lot of defense and the Generals closed out the half leading 6-0.
In the second half, Cameron Biche scored the lone goal for FM off of an assist by Jefferson Jurado. FM dropped the contest 7-1.
On Sunday, the Raiders traveled to Clinton Community College to take on the Cougars. FM bounced back for a 2-0 win on the road. Yasser and Ahmed Mourad each scored for the Raiders to secure the victory.
FM moves to 3-2 on the season and will host Erie Community College at home on Wednesday, September 12th. Game time is set for 3:00 p.m.
