Men's Soccer Overpowers Hudson Valley CC in 7-2 Road Win

Fulton-Montgomery Community College delivered a commanding performance on the road defeating Hudson Valley Community College 7-2 in a high-scoring affair that saw the Raiders showcase their offensive depth and cohesion.

The Raiders jumped out early and never looked back. Freshman Adam Rose opened the scoring in the 27th minute, off an assist from Juri Barnstorf-Brandes. Just before halftime, Joe Gore doubled the lead with a calm finish off a feed from Vito Bettendorf, giving the Raiders a 2–0 cushion at the break.

The second half saw an offensive explosion from the visitors. Lennart Kübler and Bradley Warren struck in quick succession in the 52nd and 54th minutes, each assisting the other, extending the lead to 4-0.

Hudson Valley showed brief signs of life midway through the half, as Camryn Curet converted a penalty kick in the 71st minute, followed by a goal from Logan Healy three minutes later to cut the deficit to 4-2.  

However, The Raiders responded when Luis Rincón capitalized on a setup from Ties Hartenhof in the 80th minute, followed by goals from Zak Reid (81') and Emil Otte (86') to put the game out of reach and cement the 7–2 victory.

The Raiders improve to 5-1 and will travel to SUNY Adirondack in their next contest on Wednesday, October 1st.
