The Cross Country Team traveled to Herkimer College on Saturday for the Generals Invitational. FM competed against 20 runners from Hudson Valley and Herkimer and finished in third as a team.

Travis Geniti finished the 4 mile race in front for the Raiders in 8th place at a time of 24:51. Clane Newcomer finished right after Geniti, good for 9th place at 25:20. FM's Antonio Natole finished in 12th with a time of 26:23 and Nick Ferrera finished 16th with a time of 27:10. Jon Knack and Pay Pagayon rounded out the Raiders with times of 34:00 and 36:49.
On the women's side Lyndsey Fiore finished the 3.1 mile course in 10th place with a time of 32:01.
"Our guys ran really well, said Hazzard. Travis, Clane and Nick had awesome finishes with some tough battles at the end. I'm really proud of them."
FM's next contest will be Wednesday, October 4th when they travel to Delhi for the Bronco Classic. The meet will kick off at 4:00 p.m.
