Men's Cross Country With Strong Showing at Wildcat Classic

The men's cross country team had a strong showing at the SUNY Poly Wildcat Classic on Saturday.  The Raiders competed against 61 runners across seven different teams in the 8K race. 

Gabriel LoBaido led the Raiders finishing 24th with a time of 32:18.  Clane Newcomer had a strong race, finishing 26th, with a time of 33:52.  Noah Valvo of SUNY Poly won the race with a time of 27:27.

"The guys are in great shape and had a little more experience racing this course for a second time this season.  It was a longer race, but they both placed better this time around and looked strong," said Coach Bartman.

SUNY Poly won the team title, followed by Herkimer in second and Keuka placing third. 

The Raiders are scheduled to race next at Herkimer College on Saturday, September 29th
