Softball's Julie Hampton was named to the 2017 Mountain Valley Conference team as one of three outfielders.  Julie received a coach's award this season and was a big part of the lineup. Hampton is known for her quickness in the field and her dedication to the game.   She finished 23-for-53 at the plate, finishing with a .434 batting average. She had three triples and one double, scored 14 runs and stole two bases.  On the defensive end, Hampton had 24 put-outs on the season.  Julie also excels in the classroom.  She received a 4.0 GPA this semester and is a member of the Raiders 3.0 Club.
