Softball's Gabrielle Smith was named to the 2018 Mountain Valley Conference softball team as a catcher. Gabby received the offensive award this season and was a big part of the lineup. Smith is known for her commitment to the game and the ability to get big hits when needed. She finished 11-for-45 at the plate, finishing with a .356 batting average. She had one triple, three doubles, scored 10 runs and stole three bases. On the defensive end, Smith had 26 put-outs on the season. Gabby also excels in the classroom and is a member of the Raiders 3.0 club.
