The FMCC softball team traveled to Jefferson Community College on Saturday and fell in both contests; 12-1 and 4-2.

In game one, Jefferson scored all 12 of their runs in the first inning and FM could not recover.  Sierra Logan led with a triple and Alexandria Benfatti, Marque Pacillo, and Anganese Gomez each had singles.  Sam De La Fleur had the lone RBI for FM scoring Pacillo.

In game two, FM bounced back, but fell just short.  Juliana Buyce got the start in the circle and lasted one inning allowing three runs.  Emily Washburn was strong in relief going six innings allowing just two hits and no earned runs.

The Cannoneers scored three runs in the first innings, but FM answered in the second with two run of their own.  Jefferson crossed the plate in the bottom half of the inning to take the 4-2 lead. Offensively, Buyce led with a double, single and scored once.  Pacillo finished with two singles.  Sierra Logan score the second run for the Lady Raiders.

FM will travel to Tompkins Cortland on Tuesday for a 3:00 p.m. double header.
