The women's softball team fell to the talented Herkimer Generals at FMCC on Thursday. The Lady Raiders fell in game one 19-1 and 10-0 in game two. Mallory Baldwin led the FM offense on the day going 4-4, including a double and scoring the lone run in game one.
In the first game, FM could not keep up with the Herkimer offense who pounded out 16 hits. Emily Washburn had a single and RBI scoring Baldwin in the 4th inning. Sam De La Fleur added a single to round out the FM offense.
In the night cap, the Generals scored 10 runs over the first three innings and FM could not recover. Baldwin had both hits for the Lady Raiders.
FM will host Columbia-Greene in their next contest on May 2nd.
