Lady Raiders win again, down Cayuga 85-48

Head Coach Kevin Jones' team is now 3-0, but will be facing a much tougher challenge on Sunday afternoon when undefeated Onondaga CC ("OCC") comes to town.

The Saturday contest saw FM take a 41-27 halftime lead. Eight different Raiders scored in the first half. Monae Abrams and Stephanie Rice led the way with 12 and 11 points respectively.

The second half saw no letup from the Blue and White. In fact, despite more non-starters getting playing time, FM tallied more points than they did in the first stanza.

Sunday afternoon will bring a different game to the Raiders Den.  OCC is traditionally a strong team, and their current squad is no exception. The Lazers are 6-0 and are one of the top teams in the region. On Saturday, they defeated Schenectady CCC 72-49 while the Raiders were dispatching Cayuga.

Sunday's game will tip off at 1:00 p.m.
