JOHNSTOWN – The Lady Raiders dominated their game with the Lady Panthers from start to finish on Saturday afternoon. Abby Boyer scored the game's first field goal, and the visitors from Tompkins Cortland CC ("TC3") trailed from that point on.

Boyer's field goal was followed by a free throw by Silvia Vasquez Rivera, a three-pointer by Stephanie Rice, and a three-pointer by Boyer. FM led 9-0.

The visitors got on the board with a free throw, and then they added three field goals. But soon Jessica Woney fed Rice for two, followed by Boyer sinking a pair from the stripe, and FM's lead was 15-7.

Head Coach Kevin Jones was substituting freely, and the Lady Raiders were getting good contributions from every player on the floor. Woney hit from behind the arc and added a pair from the free throw line. Boyer scored from NBA range. 26-7.

FM's final tally of the first half was a nice FG by Evanda Redwood. The teams left the floor with the Lady Raiders leading 38-19.

The Lady Raiders maintained their up-tempo pace in the second half. Redwood scored 14 second-half points, Rice added 11, and Radasha Pope tallied 9. The final score was 79-39.

After the game Coach Jones stated, "We played pretty well today.  I was pleased with the balance in our scoring. I thought that (freshman) Abby Boyer played a strong game."

The team will play again this afternoon. They will host the Lady Hornets of SUNY Broome in a 1:00 p.m. contest. Broome is off to a 2-0 start. They won a very close game at Schenectady CCC on Friday, edging the Royals 67-66.
