Lady Raiders Top The Timberwolves 76-52

The Lady Raiders hosted Adirondack Community College in The Raiders Den.  It was a battle the last time these two teams matched up at Adirondack and it was the same result this time around.

The Timberwolves controlled the offensive as they got out to a quick 10-5 lead.  Moet Jenkins was able to tie the score at 12 as she converted a three point play.  Jenkins finally put the Raiders on top for the first time 19-18 to end the quarter. 

FM opened up the 2nd quarter on a 10-2 run to take the to 30-23.  Adirondack hung in with the Raiders and cut the lead back down to three.  The Timberwolves converted a three point a the end of the quarter, but Kaina Martinez answered with a quick floater to end the half FM winning 42-34. 

Adirondack started the 3rd quarter with two quick buckets to cut the FM lead to just four.  FM took over and went on a 10-2 run and extended their lead to ten with three minutes remaining.  The Lady Raiders were able to get numerous offensive rebounds and Martinez ended the quarter with a basket to out FM on top 54-42. 

The FM defense took over in the final quarter and the Lady Raiders ran away with the contest. FM outscored Adirondack 22-10 in the 4th quarter. The Raiders saw scoring from My'eesa Grant, Rylie Smith, Boyer and Martinez in the final ten minutes. FM won the contest 76-52. 

FM's next game will be Wednesday, January 27th at Schenectady. Game time is set for 5:00 p.m.
