The game started off with multiple turnovers and missed shots, but both teams settled down and Corning was able to score the first field goal of the game at the 7 minute mark.  Sabriana Franck got things started with an assist to My'eesa Grant and a field goal of her own to put the Raiders up 6-5. Corning then went on an 8-0 run to push their lead to 5 points.  FM was able to answer with back to back buckets by Rylie Smith and Franck to end the quarter trailing 12-13.

The second quarter started with four solid minutes of defense from both teams as neither team scored.  Kaina Martinez converted a three point play to knot the score at 15.  FM went on an 8-0 run of their own to push their lead to 23-15.  FM was 8-33 from the field in the first half shooting just 24%, but FM was able to hold Corning to just six points in the quarter and go into the half winning 23-19.

FM's tough shooting day continued in the second half has they were outscored by the Red Barons 13-11 in the third quarter, but FM was able to maintain the lead 34-32 to end the quarter.  My'eesa Grant tied the score at 43 half way through the quarter.  Corning would dominate the rest of the game outscoring the Raiders 10-5 in the final three minutes.  Torri Richard sank a three pointer to cut the lead to just three points, but it wasn't enough as the Red Barons went on to win 54-50.
