Lady Raiders Improve to 12-1

The Vikings from Hudson Valley traveled to the Raiders Den for a Conference Matchup.  The Raiders dominated the contest and went on to win 77-52 and improve to 12-1 overall.

FM got off to a 12-3 lead in the first five minutes of the 1st quarter.  My'eesa Grant got back to back steals that led to a 19-5 lead for the Raiders.  Hudson Valley was able to score just two more points and end the quarter with FM leading 19-7.

In the second quarter Abby Boyer and Kaina Martinez got things started for the FM offense.  Hudson Valley answered with six unanswered points and closed the FM lead to just ten.  Rylie Smith was able to stop the Hudson Valley run with with a three pointer from the corner.  Hudson Valley ended the quarter with two baskets of their own, but the Raiders led 36-21 at the half.  

Hudson Valley started the third quarter with a quick two points and that would be all for the next six minutes.  The Lady Raiders were able to go on a 17-0 run and push the lead to 53-23.  The Vikings went on a 13-5 run in the last two minutes of the quarter, but the Raiders still had a 61-38 lead at the end of the quarter. 

Karizma Fleurimond led the Lady Raiders with eight points in the 4th quarter and numerous rebounds. Hudson Valley was unable to cut the lead as FM answered on both ends of the court and went on to win 77-52.
