The Lady Raiders hosted the Herkimer Generals in the Raiders Den.  Herkimer hung with FM for the the first half, but FM showed to be the stronger team in the second half and went on to win 68-49.

My'eesa Grant and Rylie Smith got the Lady Raiders out to a 7-0 lead, but Herkimer would answer back.  The Generals would go on an 18-3 run to push their lead to 18-10 and the quarter expired with FM trailing 19-14. FM was able to regain the lead in the 2nd quarter behind sharp shooting from Sabriana Franck who put the Raiders up 34-27.  Herkimer's Angela Porcelli was able to drill a three pointer at the buzzer to end the half with FM leading 34-30. 

Kevin Jones' team came out ready to go in the second half.  The Lady Raiders went on to dominate the 3rd quarter and outscore the Generals 20-7.  FM scored five 3 pointers in the quarter from Abby Boyer, Rylie SMith, and Tori Richard.  FM ended the quarter leading 54-37.  Herkimer made a run in the final quarter, but it wasn't enough as the Raiders went on to win 68-49. Rylie Smith led the Raiders with 14 points.

FM's next contest will be Saturday against a tough conference foe in the Hawk of Mohawk Valley CC. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m. in Utica.
