Men's and Women's Basketball Both Victorious on the Road

The Men's and Women's Basketball Team traveled to Clinton Community College on Thursday to take on the Cougars.  This would be the first game for the Raiders in five weeks due to the mid-semester break.  Both teams battled against the Cougars but FM would come out on top in both games.

The Lady Raiders beat the Cougars by a score of 75-69.  Both teams battled in the first quarter, but FM took the lead 19-18 after the 1st quarter.  Clinton outscored FM in the 2nd quarter and went into the half leading the Raiders 41-37.  In the second half, FM picked it up on defensive end and held Clinton to just twelve third quarter points.  FM held the lead in the 4th quarter and went on to win 75-69.  The Lady Raiders were led by My'eesa Grant with 27 points and Abby Boyer who scored 25 points.  

The Men's Basketball Team held on to win another close matchup by a score of 75-72.  FM was outscored in the 1st half 40-37.  In the second half the Raiders were able to outscore the Cougars by six points backed behind 18 points from Dylan O'Connor and 15 points from Barceem Dukes.  TheRaiders went on to win 75-72. 

The Raiders will host their first home game in 2016 on Saturday, January 16th.  FM is set to host Hudson Valley Community College with the Women playing at 1:00 p.m. and the Men set to tip off at 3:00 p.m.
